Plot summary
Novu's death released the cosmic energy inside him into the Satellite, and with that power the heroes pull the remaining Earths and their suns into the Bleed, a place between universes, sparing Earth-One. Eight months on, the Bleed's own physics bring natural disasters every day and pull in beings from the past, present and future of parallel Earths at the same time, stretching the heroes' resources. Batman, exposed to fear gas during a fight with Earth-10's Nazi soldiers, remembers an old man urging him to reach a time before the beginning, and Doctor Fate agrees that the answer lies before the multiverse existed. Stewart points to Constantine, a sorcerer who claimed to come from that era, and Batman, Fate, Stewart and Wonder Woman set out from the Satellite to find him.
