Plot summary
Darkseid rules Earth after the Justice League and the Teen Titans attack Apokolips and are beaten back. Two years on, his Reapers mine the planet's core, and Superman, tattooed with liquid kryptonite that strips his powers, is set free. His teammates hold him responsible for the plan's failure. He reunites with Raven, who is struggling to keep her father Trigon imprisoned, and they look for John Constantine, whose spell can trace Damian Wayne, the son who might free Batman. Constantine, who fled the first attack, agrees to join them. At Stryker's Island in Metropolis, Lois Lane has brought the Suicide Squad, now under Harley Quinn, into the plan to reach Apokolips by Boom Tube.
