Plot summary
Grandma Dot spends every summer trying to introduce her granddaughter Penelope Campbell to the men of the town. Jason Humphrey gets the same treatment from his own grandmother. When the two meet again, Penelope and Jason, who were sweethearts as children, settle on a plan: for the summer they will act as a couple, a ruse aimed at their matchmaking grandmothers.
