Plot summary
June Fraser is newly engaged to Alex Blackwell, and she has pictured her wedding day for years, with her late mother at the center of it. Planning every detail in her mom's memory is what she has looked forward to. Alex's job brings a sudden transfer, and the outdoor June ceremony the couple had chosen is pushed up to a January date, only three weeks off. Diana Blackwell, the mother-in-law June is about to gain, is an intimidating presence in the middle of the arrangements, and the summer celebration June had in mind now has to come together in three weeks' time.
