Ju-on: White Ghost (2009) on Netflix

Plot summary

Two days before Christmas, Atsushi Isobe fails his bar exam in the new house his family has taken, a house where another family was murdered. A spirit from a mirror has assumed his appearance, and he draws away from the others, including his niece Mirai. A cassette in the house holds a recording of his voice saying he will be right there, along with a young girl's voice. Seven years on, Akane, sixteen, plays Kokkuri with Mayumi and Yuka in their classroom, and the board spells Mirai, the friend she had in elementary school. Akane, who wore a yellow hat and carried a red satchel to school as a girl, has a strong sense of the supernatural and sees visions of a female ghost in a yellow hat and red satchel.
