Plot summary
Fukie Yokota is treated at a hospital, where a nurse named Yuko cares for her. A cyst found in the girl's body is the physical remnant of an unborn twin that merged with her at birth. Earlier, Fukie collapsed at school and, back home with her mother, Kiwako, began making odd noises, telling her father he will kill a woman. A psychology test in which she is hypnotized leaves her unstable. Kiwako asks her sister Mariko, who is spiritually aware, to examine Fukie.
