Plot summary
A live show taped in Santa Ana places a ventriloquist on stage with the characters he works with. Walter is a grumpy old Vietnam War veteran who complains about his wife. Sweet Daddy Dee says he is the ventriloquist's new manager from the street and calls himself a player in the management profession. Bubba J, by the ventriloquist's account, is white-trash trailer-park, with NASCAR and beer as his subjects. Peanut is a purple woozle from Micronesia, and José Jalapeño on a Stick is a jalapeño pepper mounted on a stick.
