Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Ravi Teja was originally set to play the lead in what became Jaat, but that plan was shelved; after Gadar 2 became a blockbuster for Sunny Deol, he was the one approached for the main role.
- Randeep Hooda did not want to play a villain in Jaat and agreed only at Sunny Deol's request, who argued that his own brother Bobby Deol had played a villain yet was still seen as a character, not a villain.
- Jaat drew backlash over a scene set inside a church after its 18 April 2025 release, and the makers apologised and cut the scene from the film.
