Did you know?!Facts and trivia about David (2013)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Vivek Oberoi was recruited to play one of the title characters in David, but pulled out on learning the film would be made in both Hindi and Tamil; the team considered Farhan Akhtar before casting Neil Nitin Mukesh in his place.
- Vikram's segment, set in Goa, was actually shot in Kerala — Alleppey and Kuttanad — while Mangalore beach was dressed to replicate the beaches of Goa, where a song featuring Remo Fernandes was also filmed.
- Neil Nitin Mukesh's scenes were the most difficult to shoot because he was also filming the movie 3G in Fiji, which made his dates hard for director Bejoy Nambiar to accommodate.
- Noted ad-maker Prahlad Kakkar was persuaded by Bejoy Nambiar to make his film debut as an actor, playing a priest, and shot his scenes in Mangalore.
- Tamil film composer Anirudh Ravichander, of "Why This Kolaveri Di" fame, contributed one song to David's soundtrack, which was his Bollywood debut.
