Plot summary
Sasha Makarova and Danya Krasnov are fifteen. They sleep together for the first time. Sasha's parents discover that she is no longer a virgin. Her stepfather, a policeman, tells her she may not leave the family home. Sasha does not intend to obey him. She and Danya run away, in protest against their parents and the world around them. The freedom they suddenly have goes to their heads. Danya, usually quiet and unassuming, runs wild.
