Plot summary
Masahiro holds Japan's undefeated boxing title and trains in the winter wilderness for a match against Clint Sullivan, an American challenger. Memories of the war haunt Sullivan, and he must contend with the Yakuza's influence over the bout to keep his honor. The fight is arranged by managers and the Yakuza, and it brings together two men from opposite worlds. Political tensions surround the contest in Tokyo after World War II.
