I Wish (2011) on Netflix

Plot summary

Since their parents divorced, Koichi has lived in Kagoshima with his mother Nozomi and his grandparents, while Ryunosuke, his younger brother, lives in Fukuoka with their father Kenji. Koichi misses his brother and his father and dreams of the family coming together again. He learns that the energy released when two new bullet trains pass each other at full speed will grant a wish to whoever watches. Koichi invites his friends to travel with him to the place where the trains cross, and tells Ryunosuke about the plan. Ryunosuke brings three friends of his own, and the seven children set out for the meeting point.
