Plot summary
Johnny is a petite waitress at a truck-stop café, where she works and lives, lonely and longing for love. Two gay truckers stop there: Krassky, manly and worldwise, and his younger lover Padovan, who is handsome but immature and hard to handle. Krassky, tired of looking after Padovan, is drawn to the boyish Johnny, and she falls for him. Her boss Boris warns her that Krassky is gay. Krassky hesitates, then gives way to her unconditional affection.
