I Love Melvin (1953) on Netflix

Plot summary

Melvin Hoover works as the assistant to Mergo, a photographer at Look magazine, and on his way through Central Park he collides with Judy LeRoy, a chorus girl heading to rehearsal. Judy has just been promoted out of the chorus of the Broadway musical Quarterback Kelly to play a human football. Melvin watches her number from backstage that night and offers to shoot a photo spread of her for the magazine, and she agrees. The photo sessions draw the two together, but Judy's father Frank wants her to pay more attention to Harry Flack, who stands to inherit a paper box company. Hoping her family will stop pressing her, Judy asks Melvin to get her on the cover of Look, and he promises to try.
