Plot summary
Five men earn their living as Santa Claus and wear real beards all year, not only through the holidays. A camera stays with them for twelve months as the next Christmas season nears and they get ready for it. Out of the suit they are ordinary men with the usual trouble: divorce, a lost job, insecurity, a morning after a long night. Each feels the red suit stands for something and that its good name is his to protect, on a mall floor and off duty. Few parents stop to ask whose lap their child is sitting on.
