Plot summary

Heath Ledger was an actor and an artist who carried a camera and filmed his own life. A documentary gathers his parents, his sisters, his childhood friends, and the filmmakers, musicians, and actors he worked with, who recall his life and his career. Interviews with them sit alongside footage he shot himself, where he often performs for his own lens. A dialect coach, an agent, and a music producer also appear. Ledger died in 2008, and his former partner, the mother of his daughter, did not take part. His family agreed to appear only after she gave her blessing and a friend of his joined the project.
