Plot summary
Harold White is an accountant whose teenage awkwardness has stayed with him into adulthood. He has had his sights on a woman for a while and wants to win her over, so he hires a dating coach. The coach is Annie Hayes, the woman he had a crush on in high school. Her coaching does land him the woman he was chasing, and the two of them turn out to be incompatible. The sessions with Annie bring his old feelings for her back to the surface. She feels the same way and he does not know it, so his fear of being rejected keeps him from speaking to the one he truly loves.
