Plot summary
Kevin Franklin, a Pittsburgh native, borrows money for another get-rich-quick scheme and falls into debt with the Gasperini Brothers. At Pittsburgh International Airport he overhears lawyer Gary Young tell his children that he has not seen his childhood friend Derek Bond in twenty five years and would not recognize him, so Kevin hands his cap to the real Derek to throw the mobsters off and presents himself to the Youngs as Derek. They take him to their home in Sewickley for a weekend, where he knows nothing about dentistry and Emily Young runs a chain of frozen yogurt shops. Kevin has to keep up the act, get along with Gary's children Brooke and Jason, and stay ahead of Joey and Pauly Gasperini.
