Plot summary
Frank used to work as a cop. These days a shark has gotten into his house, and it belongs to a breed that is dangerous and largely unknown. He cannot handle it on his own, so he turns to two men. Abraham once worked in real estate, and Zachary is the only expert on house sharks. Frank wants the shark out of his home.

- Writer-director Ron Bonk said House Shark grew out of an incident in which ice cracked on his roof: he joked about zombies on an ice roof, imagined a zombie apocalypse confined to people's homes, then switched the threat to a shark.
- Special effects artists Marcus Koch and Matthew Ash worked on the film; Koch built a 14-foot foam-latex shark costume over about three weeks, and the suit performers inside it included Koch and Michael Merchant, who also played Zachary. Bonk said the costume has since been disassembled.
- The Indiegogo campaign Ron Bonk launched during pre-production to ease House Shark's production costs failed to reach its funding goal, which limited both the equipment used for the film and the size of the crew.
