Plot summary

Chef has left a mentorship under Marcello to run a remote, dilapidated restaurant of her own, with capital secured by her business partner Andreas, and she moves out of her apartment to live there. On the day of a menu tasting for Andreas, his main investor Toli and the critic Hiral, the dishes she prepared are moldy and full of insects, and rabbits have destroyed the garden. Alvin, who works locally, comes back from the shops with poor ingredients, since every supplier she chose is closed on Sunday. Chef still assembles a fine dining meal. Toli likes it; Hiral calls it unadventurous, without voice. Andreas wants Lucia, a friend of his, brought in as sous chef. He then reports that Toli wants Chef replaced, and Chef asks for two weeks to rework her menu.
