Plot summary
Jason Price once worked for the government. He now runs a network that gives clients new identities and helps them disappear, and he controls how it operates. A mobster named Paul Elkert and Price's childhood friend Sonny Mathis both come to him for that service. Then clients start turning up dead, and it becomes clear that someone has gotten inside his operation. A hit man known as the Cleaner is moving through the network, killing the people Price has placed. Renee Brooks, the mobster's assistant, joins Price as he goes through the names of the people he works with, trying to learn how the breach happened and who is behind it.
