Plot summary
Sid Soupir has his eye on Angie at school, and his friend Pierre urges him to go and speak to her. When she offers to take his number, Sid admits he has no cellphone. His mother can spare only thirty euros of his birthday money, and his boss Fritz refuses to pay him early. In a small shop run by Patrick Vo, Sid haggles over the price and leaves with a red phone crowned by two horns. The phone wakes in his grip, startling the shopkeeper, who has never managed to switch it on. He wants it back to sell at a higher price, so Sid runs off with it.
