Plot summary
Iznogoud holds the post of Grand Vizier in Baghdad the Magnificent, and it is not the post he wants. The throne he wants belongs to the Caliph Haroun El Poussah, so every plan the Vizier makes is a plan against the Caliph. He turns to a djinn, an invisibility spell, a cursed diamond and a voodoo doll, and each attempt has to be followed by the next. Cunning and obstinacy are not in short supply, but sheer bad luck keeps undoing the work. Around the two men are Dilat Laraht, Prehti-Ouhman, Pullmankar and the genies Ouz and Ouzmoutousouloubouloubombé.
