Plot summary
Midori, a Japanese bride, decides her new marriage is a mistake while honeymooning in Sydney with her husband, Yukio. She stages her own kidnapping to get away, but the lover who was meant to meet her does not show. Needing cash, she is inside a bank when a robbery begins, and the crew seizes her as a hostage. The getaway driver, Colin, refuses to let the brothers harm her, turns on them, and leaves with her. Colin wants to reach his father's ranch in New South Wales, and Midori chooses to stay with him. The robbers swear revenge, the police join the pursuit, and Yukio sets out after his wife.
