Plot summary
Harmony is a 21-year-old homeless woman who takes the fear of anyone she comes into contact with into her own body. Inside her it turns into a black liquid that water can wash away, and she can absorb only so much before it kills her. Mason is a socially awkward man who appears to have no fear at all, and in his company Harmony feels none of the pain she carries. She falls in love with him. Her path then crosses that of Jimmy, a man whose presence gives off fear. With that negative energy building around them, Harmony and Mason have to work together to hold it in balance.
