Plot summary
Rogers is an undercover officer. The criminals he goes after terrorize neighborhoods with drugs and violence, and he can get closer to them than anyone else can. Many of his assignments take him to the neighborhoods where he grew up. He becomes part of the problem, and he comes close to turning into what he is trying to bring down. He has to choose which side he will take, his oath or his feelings.
