Grand Tour: Disaster in Time (1992) on Netflix

Plot summary

A group of oddly dressed tourists arrives in a small town and asks for rooms at a remote guest house instead of the local hotel. The driver, Oscar, brings them to Ben Wilson, a widower who is fixing up the guest house on the edge of town while raising his young daughter, Hillary. Ben helps one of them, Quish, after a minor accident and sees that Quish's passport carries stamps from places and dates tied to famous disasters. When Ben asks Quish about it, Quish warns him to leave town. In town, Judge Caldwell, Ben's father-in-law, blames Ben for his daughter's death and has Ben declared an unfit parent, taking custody of Hillary.
