Plot summary
Father John is the priest of Juno City, a small town that Sam Clayton and his outlaw band ride into. The gang assaults a woman and kills a man at the bar before leaving. Though Father John carries no weapon, he catches up with them and brings the killer back to the jail. Clayton's men break the prisoner out, then shoot Father John outside his church. The gang takes over Juno City while it waits for a stagecoach carrying money. Johnny O'Hara, a boy from the town, escapes and rides into Mexico hoping to find the priest's twin brother, Lewis, a reformed gunfighter.
