Plot summary
Clarence spends his time at the bar where Alex works, drawn to her, but she pays him little attention and is occupied with her divorce. He approaches Patrick, a man at another bar known for his way with women, and after losing an expensive game of pool to him, offers money for his help. The plan they agree on costs $25,000: Patrick and his associates take Alex by force, and Clarence appears as the man who saves her. Clarence drives an expensive car and goes by the surname Duffield, and the crew brings Alex to his large house, where an alarm sounds and Clarence disarms it.
