Plot summary
On the set and on location near Barstow, the crew of From Dusk Till Dawn works without union contracts, and the documentary team covering the shoot is non-union too. Cameras stay with the company through the shooting schedule, recording scenes in progress and the labor that surrounds them, from makeup effects to stunts. Members of the cast and crew give interviews about their craft and about why they do this work, and some of the performers mug for the camera. The non-union status of the production draws a protest from the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, and the film's executive producer gives his side. A Variety reporter is interviewed as well.
