Plot summary
Daniella, an artist who has recently settled in New York, decides to spend the holidays in the city with her artist friends rather than travel home to her parents, whom she finds sweet but overbearing. Amelia works as an entertainment lawyer and has kept her focus on her job since a broken engagement. Their parents arrange an introduction, and the two women agree to pretend they are dating for the sake of their families over the holidays.
