Plot summary
Frank and Jesse James swear allegiance to the Union once the Civil War is over, alongside other men who had ridden with Quantrill and Bill Anderson. Chicago railroad investors press the family, and the James and Younger brothers, Cole and Bob among them, answer by robbing banks, trains and stagecoaches. Bob and Charlie Ford, Clell Miller and Arch Clements ride along with the gang. Allan Pinkerton and his detective agency take up the pursuit, sworn to bring the outlaws to justice.
