Maria Pitillo

Maria Pitillo is an American retired actress who began her career in commercials after working as a department store clerk in New Jersey. In 1987 she was cast as Nancy Don on the ABC soap opera Ryan's Hope and remained with the series until it ended in 1989. She later said she did not consider acting a serious career choice until after appearing in Chaplin (1992). Her breakthrough came in 1995 on the Fox sitcom Partners, where she played Alicia Sondergard, but the show was canceled in 1996. She starred as Audrey Timmonds in Godzilla (1998), a role that earned her a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Supporting Actress in 1999. Pitillo also had a recurring role as Tina Calcatera on the television series Providence from 2001 to 2002, and her final film role was the made-for-television movie The Christmas Secret.
