Plot summary
A group of four friends enters its final year of high school with a shared plan: keep the workload light, take a program that houses foreign exchange students as one of their classes, and go on to Ohio State when the year ends. Each of the four runs into a hurdle. Grades are a problem for one, ambitions that reach past the plan for another, and love for a third. The exchange students who arrive through the program are the ones the four are expected to help. The help ends up flowing the other way, and the visitors are the ones who see their hosts through the year.
