Plot summary
Erica Vandross is seventeen and lives in the San Fernando Valley with her mother, Laurie, and Laurie's boyfriend, Bob, whom she does not like. With Kala and Claudine, she entraps pedophiles, and she is saving money to post her father's bail; he is in jail on a charge of attempting to rob a casino. Bob's son Luke, eighteen and emotionally disturbed, leaves rehab and moves in with them. Erica offers him oral sex, he refuses, and the two become friends. At a bowling alley, Luke panics when he sees Will Jordan, the middle school teacher he accused of sexual assault, though Will was never charged because of inconsistencies in Luke's account. Erica and her friends choose Will as their next target.
