Flow (1996) on Netflix

Plot summary

Four short films sit inside a conversation. A filmmaker of 22, Chinese and gay, describes the work he does and the love life he leads to a friend the audience never sees. Hysterio Passio strings together images of men's passion. Matricide sets a lawyer questioning a young Chinese man about his mother's death on Christmas morning. Key in the Heart gives its heroine, an Asian man in drag, vampires to chase. Fall, 1990 places college students in shared rooms, and there Jimmy, an edgy scholarship boy with no family, meets the callow Byron. A satiric look at the spread of viruses and a talk with the filmmaker's mother are also part of the program.
