Plot summary
In Dublin, Flora is raising Max, her teenage son, on her own. The two are estranged, and Max is rebellious and steals. The Gardaí encourage Flora to find Max a hobby. She rescues an old guitar from a skip and gets help from a guitar teacher in Los Angeles who works with her online. That leads her to discover that someone's discarded rubbish can be someone else's salvation.
