Plot summary
Jimmy and Max are cousins who repair telephones in Flatbush, the Brooklyn neighborhood where they grew up. Their customers are an increasingly yuppie crowd, and the job brings the two men meager livings. Jimmy, a former Wall Street hotshot, wants his fast-paced life back, while Max, his buttoned-up cousin, is starting to have second thoughts about the expensive wedding he has coming up. During a routine house call, Jimmy overhears a client conducting illegal insider trading over the phone. He persuades Max that they should tap that line and cash in on the stock tips to solve their money problems.
