Plot summary
In a therapy group, Abel, a therapist, works with a handful of clients who are dealing with their weight. Enrique is an actor, known as the face of a weight-loss product, and loses that work when he puts weight back on. He is also rethinking his sexuality as he dates Pilar, the wife of his business partner. Sofía is engaged to Álex, a devout Christian who shows no interest in her physically. Leonor eats for comfort while her boyfriend is away in the States. Andrés, a scientist, and his wife Beatriz are heavy, as is their daughter; their son is not. The sessions bring out the clients' hang-ups, fears and obsessions, and Abel's own life is not untouched: his wife Paula is pregnant.
