Cleopatra (2003) on Netflix

Plot summary

Sandra is a soap opera star whose producer will not let her have her way, and the press follows her everywhere. Cleopatra, an aging schoolteacher, spends her days looking after Roberto, her husband, unemployed and depressed. The two women meet at an audition that goes badly for Cleopatra, and they become friends. On a whim they take off together for a weekend, away from their daily lives and from the men at home, and on the road Carlos, a rural worker, picks them up.
