Plot summary
Maggie and her sister Grace Novak lost their parents five years ago, on a night that also involved Jack Elligott, Maggie's one-time lover. The weekend away comes while the events of that night are barely behind them, and the truth about Jack's disappearance has stayed hidden from Grace. The sisters leave town for a retreat, joined by Joplin O'Toole, Maggie's closest friend, and during the trip new love begins for both of them. What Maggie does not know is that Jack has returned, and that Leona De Martino has come with him. Over the weekend, he makes his presence known.
