Plot summary
Judith King lives in Yorkshire with her father Andy, her mother Sheila and her brother Joe. The camcorder her father gave her is used to record her everyday life and the family around her. She has a crush on Claire, the teenage girl next door, and has not told her family that she is a lesbian. Andy is chasing a promotion at work, and money is tight. The family is planning to move to a new house; on a visit to see it, Judith tries to persuade her father to stay, but cannot bring herself to explain why. Financial pressure and the strain at home begin to show in how Andy behaves.
