Brittany Ashworth

Brittany Ashworth is an English actress who began in British television, where she took period parts including Cathy in Wuthering Heights and Miriam Leivers in Sons and Lovers. At 18 she gained admission to Oxford University, studying English Literature and acting alongside Anna Popplewell and Alfred Enoch. Her portrayal of Alex Ratcliffe in Mrs Ratcliffe's Revolution, a Warner Bros film, brought her to a London agent's attention. She starred in Exhibit A (2007), then appeared as Sister Vaduva in The Crucifixion (2017), a Peter Safran production, opposite Sophie Cookson. That part prompted Xavier Gens to give her the lead in Hostile (2017), opposite Gregory Fitoussi, and she earned several best actress awards for it. She also co-starred in the comic book adaptation Accident Man (2018), in which Ashley Greene played her sister, and was cast as Ruby in Guy Ritchie's The Gentleman.
