Plot summary
Clara Barron is an OB-GYN in Los Angeles who also counsels couples on happiness, though her own romantic life remains unsettled. She owns a house there and has a loving family, and she divides her time between her practice in the United States and her relatives in Mexico. When a family wedding draws her back, she asks a co-worker to accompany her as her boyfriend. At the wedding, her ex-boyfriend appears. Her family holds him in high regard, and he had disappeared from her life. Clara must decide whether to return to that past relationship or open herself to new possibilities.
