Plot summary
Mason Pollard is a U.S. Marshal whose work consists of faking the deaths of witnesses who need to disappear. Technological advances over the past 25 years have changed how the job is done. His new assignment is Rina Kimura, the wife of a crime boss who has decided to give evidence for the state. She and Pollard travel to Cape Town, South Africa, and a group of assassins follows them there.
