Plot summary
A surfer from Los Angeles makes off with JD's prized surfboard in Ventura, California. JD refuses to let the theft stand, so he gathers his friends and Mike Mooney, the local surf hero, and the group sets out from Ventura on a road trip to Los Angeles to get the board back. The goal is the board back in JD's hands and a summer party once the group is home.
