Plot summary
An attorney tells Jacob Martin that his father has died and left him $1,200,000, provided he can also show that an aunt he never knew is deceased. While clearing out his father's belongings, he is surprised by his friend Dell, who takes a pocket watch. At the bar where Pia Carter works, Jacob persuades Dell to help him track down his aunt's records in exchange for $20,000. Those records sit in the asylum's annex, and a court order would take months, so Jacob bribes a clerk for entry. He and Dell get blueprints from Scott, Pia's brother. The four slip into the building, narrowly avoiding a police officer.
