Plot summary
Ellie Parker is an Australian actress working in Los Angeles, and she keeps moving to stay in the running. Between appointments she changes clothes and makeup behind the wheel, runs through accents, attends acting class and therapy, and leans on her friend Sam, another out-of-work performer from home who designs on the side. Her boyfriend Justin, a musician, treats fidelity loosely and leaves her as unsatisfied as the rest of her days. A fender bender at a stop sign brings her together with Chris, who says he is a cinematographer. Ellie begins to look at her career and her dating life differently, and asks who she is apart from the roles she auditions for.
