Plot summary
Elenore is a pretty brunette model who comes to an upscale New York City hotel suite for a private shoot with Dee, a young, tall, blonde photographer. The two women connect romantically and spend the weekend in the room together, giving their hours to talk and to making love. The film does not move through those hours in order. It works instead as a non-linear, dreamlike mix of conversation and lovemaking. Flashbacks fill in the people around the two of them: Dee's brother voices his disapproval of her seeing Elenore, and Elenore also keeps a married man as a lover on the side.
