Plot summary

His marriage to La Tetona Mendoza over, Santos, an unemployed pacheco fighter, tries to lift his depression with a campaign for the regenerative zombies of Sahuayo, a plan he first treated as a quick way to make money. The town's people live and work beside the zombies, and the effort brings profit to others. La Tetona Mendoza, a loud and voluptuous fighter, turns up and orders Santos to get rid of the zombies. His police friend Cabo Valdivia stands with him, while Peyote Asesino, a drug-dealing rival, goes after the same goal, and the two men are set against each other over Tetona.
